Spring Is Almost Here

Spring Break starts for some in March. I, living in Kansas, not sure why they call it Spring Break since we are still getting some blizzards here and there. Maybe, it is because most of the people that I know decided to take their vacation to some warm place. Not my case however.  My kids love skiing and I am stuck with more of the cold weather.  

The Fall 2017 collections were exposed during February and March. From Milan, Paris, London, Madrid to New York we all know what to look for in Fall - multiple bright colors, embroidery, furry and leopard fabrics. It seems that Spring is still far away when it is just around the corner.  As a matter of fact, March 21. 

So, let’s focus on this, Spring.  Denim fabrics are very popular in shirts, pants, skirts and even dresses. High waist jeans are back (I need some time to get used to this).  Stripe fabrics, especially blue and white are all over the place.  Soft pinks and peach colors are popular as well. We’ve seen these colors already the past few seasons but they are still very popular and ongoing.  Wide puffy sleeves, off the shoulder tops and dresses, lots of embroideries and silky stripe loose shirts are the new trend.
